I haven't blogged for a very long time. I'm beginning to blog again because I don't want to write in a diary so this is the lazy way out.
I refuse to do many things in life, because it's just who I am. Don't ask me why. I'm writing this because it would just be too awkward to strike a conversation with my friends and talk about myself. "Hi so and so, let's talk about ME". Wouldn't that be wierd?
I warn you in advance to only read this when it's a rainy day (when you just have absolutely nothing to do).
I REFUSE to:
-pay for parking when there are free public parking spaces on the street. I feel that we should make full usage of all the taxes that we pay to the gov't each year. Why pay when you can get it for free?
-eat fast-food when there are many healthy alternatives available. Really, it only takes like an additional 15 mins for the chef to cook your food. It's a great time to chat with whom you're dining out with as well. I love the saying: "You are what you eat!"
-be short-changed from the person at the register (merchant). I don't feel that it's alright for the merchant to short-change you, even if it's "only a penny" because they wouldn't be okay with the fact that you could "short change" them back, when you're a "penny short". It's a matter of principle for me and I just don't like to break up a bill (the reason is below). -placed anywhere near the following when I'm dining out (washroom, kitchen, entrance of restaurant doorway). I get dizzy from the waiter & people dashing in/out therefore I can't enjoy my meal. I love my food and have respect for what I eat. So I rather wait to be seated.
I LIKE to:
-give out coins to the person at the register because it gives me a challenge to unload all the heavy coins in my wallet (ofcourse, not when there's a long queue). Alright, I hate getting coins back, because it wrecks my wallet.
-collect cute cards of all sorts (birthdays, xmas, get-well etc) because I could imagine how happy the receiver would be when he/she reads my card. Therefore, I do spend quite some time picking out the right cards because I like to use it for the right moment.
-collect jeans. I'm always in the search for the "perfect" pair of jeans even though I have many pairs that I just adore already. -collect red wine and I'm still in the stage of tasting out what I prefer most (Australia, France or California?)
-look at interior designs and houses of all sort. I love the minimalistic and trendy/classy look to a modern house.
-visit a wine distillery or pick grapes in France one day.
Everyone has their quirky or wierd personality, but I am glad to say that I finally realize and admit to these. I feel like I just came out of the closet. Is this the reaching 30 crisis? I don't know but I do feel the pinch now.
working is an ass. Enjoying my airport extreme base station now...cool indeed as I could access the internet via my powerbook in the living room!!
Not feeling so happy these days due to the weather, relationship with bf, quarrels with family..aiya..busyness in work has lead me to lose connections with close friends...aiya...screwed up, I must say at this moment.
this music video is so classic. I miss all these famous HK singers in here. This one makes me wanna cry.
My emotions are all messed up. I get mad and upset about nothing in general but just feel negative about things and express these feelings to those around me. Perhaps, I should just enter a cold war with myself. It's not the weather. It's me.
